Morgan is a graduate of Westlake High School and has been playing trumpet for the last 15 years. Recently, she graduated from the Bob Cole Conservatory at California State University Long Beach with her degree in Trumpet Performance-where she studied under leading studio and orchestral trumpet players Robert Frear and David Washburn. She has also performed with several prestigious ensembles including the Tournament of Roses Herald Trumpet Line and has won awards for her leadership and musicality including the Patrick S. Gilmore Band Award and the Sigma Alpha Iota Collegiate Honor Award. Morgan has been teaching privately for 7 years and has experience teaching all ages and experience levels-most recently she coached brass for the marching band at Westlake High School. In addition to her vast trumpet experience, she has also worked with children at Occupational Therapy clinics and camps. Morgan currently plays with the Westlake Village Symphony and various other ensembles.
